As other reviewers have mentioned, there are ads. The screenshots are misleading.

This is the best app of its type, its free, I dont understand how people can be "distracted" by the adds, it is a small strip on top, it is a way for the developper to be compensated for their efforts. For those bothered by the adds, I suggest they stop browsing the Internet, almost every page carries an add.

The current update (3.0) is welcome change for the app. Thanks for improving the user interface of the app.

Seemed like a great app at first but the adds at the top have gotten the better of me. Moving on to something else.

I like the wheels interface. 2.0 form is ugly, not sure why would the developers have there, its the like these two user interfaces created by two different ppl. Just change the icon an get rid of the ugly white interface and this is 5 star App.

Very conveinient. You are able to calculate tips for both personal and for split checks. No more trying to figure out who owes how much. 0-99% tip calculations and can calculate split bills up to 100 people per bill. If all you are looking for is a simple tip calculator I wouldnt pay for if while this is still free

Downloaded this when there was only a free version, now Im bumped to the "lite" app? Puh-leaze. Not cool.

New splash screen icon in really tacky! But overall in functionality its great. Does everything its supposed to!

Love this user-friendly app! I always eat out with a bunch of people and use this a lot! Its quick & easy, and it calculates tips before tax!! I like the wheel, its so easy to scroll for the amount I want. Keep it up!! To be honest, I didnt notice the app until seeing people whine about it on the review. Its only about 1/10 of the screen, not bothersome at all. And I would have expected to see some ads in such a wonderful FREE app.

The creator has steadily watered the app down since it was originally posted, not particularily endearing. The app still works well though.

Not impressed. I had the original version which appeared to be the full version with no ads. Seems to be that during an update, it has been changed to a lite version. I understand vendors and developers wanting to make some money on things but if you offer the complete version for free, dont make a future update cause it to be a lite version just because you now charge for the full one.

I rely on this app every day, below are some additions Id love to see in a pro version: 1) The ability to enter in each persons individual items from your party-- calculating a total with tip/tax/liquor tax for each person because the bill is not split evenly. 2) The ability to keep a record of your tips-- so if youre always going to the same place and eating the same things youll be able to pull up a quick reference guide. Keep up the good work!

This is a very handy App for people who eat out often and never really know how much tip they should leave or how to share the bill among several people. Its easy to use and flawless.

My favourite one of the free tip calculators. The results could be displayed better IMO, but its still good.

Oh noooo! There are ads in your precious tip calculator? Get over it. Its a free app, that does exactly what it says, and the ads are completely unobtrusive! The developers deserve to make a buck too, and they have chosen to place ads in their apps, as opposed to charge us. Give it a rest, and stop your whining. Do you call the TV station and cry when your favorite show is interrupted by ads?
